At last! Our new front entry door,made to better match its surrounding lead lights, installed and painted. When I first came to Closeburn, I didn’t much like her blush pink tones, but they’ve grown on me. So when choosing a colour for our new entry, one of the brilliant @utopiagoods textiles we’ve used throughout the house was giving off strong vibes. Their ‘Firewheel Earth’ design inspired my choice of @duluxaus Coalition. Makes for a fresh and welcoming arrival I think! Easter and the beautiful colours of Autumn would normally herald the start of our peak season here at Closeburn House. But for now, we remain closed. Though it’s not all bad, the days have been lovely and we’ve been keeping busy in the gardens. It’s great to be out in the sunshine and fresh air. When Spring arrives, they should be looking blooming marvellous! Our reservations system is open and accepting bookings from 1 June onwards which may be wishful thinking. But rest assured - we have a very flexible cancellation policy should circumstances push this date out further. We are here for inspections if you’re looking for the perfect venue for your wedding or any other functions.
